The inspiration for the unique flowers and plants created in the Ignatius series was spurred on by a visit last year to the Phantasea Tropical Botanical Gardens one cloudy morning last year while vacationing on the US Virgin Island of St Thomas. Seeing an unexpected variety of flowers and tree specimens sparked my imagination to include more unique flowers and fruits in the land of Dinas Affaraon in Book 2 of the Ignatius series.
