Okoks inhabited Cambria before the Nostaw arrived, living in groups throughout the forests and mountains, in order to afford more protection to the group, with a dominant male coordinating the group’s protection. Okoks are very intelligent, speaking their own language, but typically ignored by the Nostaw since the Okoks have not revealed their degree of intelligence or the fact they understand the Nostaw language.
